Kenny Rodriguez is one of the breakout stars from season 6 of Love Island USA.

The show has been a hot topic for reality TV fans this summer and was one of the most streamed shows in the U.S., according to Neilsen.

Rodriguez says he is glad to be back in his hometown and he has been making appearances throughout the city, including lighting the Empire State Building and speaking on a panel at the 92Y.

The reality star is getting to soak up time with his family in the Bronx and introduce them to his new girlfriend that he met on the show, Jana Craig.

"It's surreal, everyone's recognizing me out in public. I got the chance to go up to Hunts Point and visit my family in the South Bronx," he said. "I got chopped cheese, I got a bacon, egg, and cheese. It just feels good to be back."
