Police: 2 people sought in chain-snatching thefts following 6 incidents in The Bronx

According to police the first incident happened on Feb. 25 at 2478 Jerome Ave.

Police say they are looking for two people following six reported chain snatching incidents in The Bronx.

According to police the first incident happened on Feb. 25 at 2478 Jerome Ave. Two people on a bike snatched a chain off a 34-year-old woman'sneck. On Feb. 28 police say they snatched another chain off a 17-year-old boy at 4 p.m. in Highbridge. On March 1, the pair snatched another chain off a 19-year-old girl around Grand Concourse and East 170th Street.

And finally, the last two happened on March 6 -- just 5 minutes apart from each other.

Police need help locating the pair — anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
