Career fair in Morris Heights gives hope to HS students with disabilities
The career fair aimed to show the students that the opportunities post-graduation are endless.

The Bronx Transition and College Access Center (BXTCAC), in a partnership with the United Federation of Teachers, organized its annual career fair for high school students with disabilities.
More than 1,000 students and 70 employers, colleges and trade schools attended the fair on Tuesday at Roberto Clemente Park.
The career fair aimed to show the students that the opportunities post-graduation are endless.
"A one-stop shop for all students with disabilities to come in the borough and get information that's necessary for success after high school," said Jonathan Santiago, director of BXTCAC.
Tables were lined up for students to obtain information.
"So many opportunities that we have is really special," said one student.
Sheba, special education coordinator from Exploration High School discussed how events like this level the playing fields.
"No one is better, no one is higher, No one is lower. We're all right here in the middle," she said.
