An 18-year-old was shot in the backside in Pelham Bay Park on Monday evening.
Police say they received a call after 9 p.m. for a man shot in the vicinity of Ampere Avenue and Middletown Road. Law enforcement officials say the victim ran into the Country Club neighborhood following the incident.
The man was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
