An Orange County man facing charges for allegedly sexually abusing boys was in Rockland County Court on Monday.

James Valentine was remanded to Rockland County Jail Monday afternoon, where he's been held since his arrest last week.

The 57-year-old Cornwall-On-Hudson man's request to be released was denied by Judge Kevin Russo as his case is currently in front of a grand jury.

Valentine faces multiple sex abuse charges for cases in Rockland that go back more than a decade when he was living there.

A Clarkstown Justice Court complaint detail an alleged act with a 9-year-old boy in Clarkstown back in 2009.

Another complaint states a boy was 8 when Valentine began allegedly touching him inappropriately dozens of times over a four-year period between 2011 and 2015.

As News 12 reported, Valentine is also accused of having inappropriate relations with two 15-year-old boys at his Cornwall-on-Hudson home last month.

He was charged with endangering the welfare of minors in that most recent case.
