Nonprofit builds stable future for Bronx residents with new affordable housing unit

A brand-new affordable and supportive housing development is taking shape in the Tremont section of the Bronx.

Community Access, a nonprofit that builds housing for people living with mental health concerns and those exiting homelessness, is preparing to open Baez Place - its 10th building in the borough since 2005.

Once construction is complete, more than 200 residents are expected to move in.
