3 wanted for Tremont deli robbery, injuring senior who tried to intervene

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a group of people who they say were involved last month in a violent Tremont deli robbery.
Authorities say the trio entered the business at 2026 Lafontaine Ave. on Oct. 16.
A 78-year-old worker attempted to stop them, only to be pushed to the ground from behind, according to detectives.
Police say he was hospitalized and has since recovered.
Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
