A man is dead after he was hit by a pickup truck in Bay Shore.
Felipe Corporan-Romero, 67, of Bay Shore, was crossing 5th Avenue near Dowsing Avenue late Tuesday night, Suffolk police say.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 20-year-old driver of the truck stayed at the scene and was not injured, according to police.
