Kingsbridge residents told News 12 on Sunday that they aren’t surprised by crashes at the intersection of Albany Crescent and Kingsbridge Terrace Avenue days after several cars were damaged.

Police responded on Nov. 16 at 4:44 a.m. at 3201 Heath Ave. when a 31-year-old female driver was operating a BMW SUV and swerved to avoid another vehicle heading in the opposite direction. She struck several parked cars.

Surveillance video shows the vehicle come to a complete stop before aggressively turning onto Albany Crescent. The steep and narrow downhill drive is a concern for residents in the neighborhood who say it isn't the first time cars have crashed there.

“They’ve already crashed [into] three of my vehicles,” said tenant Joseph Decena.

The NYPD told News 12 that there were no arrests or charges in the Nov. 16 incident.
