Police have released new surveillance footage of the man wanted for shooting a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman just before midnight in E 160st and Melrose.

Investigators say the suspect, who ran from the scene, was dressed entirely in black and wore a ski mask and blue surgical gloves.

Residents who live near East 160th Street and Melrose Avenue say the violence has left them shaken, with some calling the situation “out of control.”

Just two hours before this incident, two men in their twenties were also shot near Ryer Avenue. Police say four masked suspects ran from that scene. All four victims in both shootings are recovering as detectives continue to search for the man seen in the newly released video.

Anyone who recognizes him is urged to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline. All calls are confidential.
