A suspect was arrested for fatally striking a man on the Major Deegan Expressway Friday in the Bronx, police said.
Authorities said 47-year-old Robert Blakney was driving a Chevy suburban southbound when he struck the victim around 5 a.m. EMS responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police said Blakney remained at the scene of the accident. He has been charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
