A multifamily home in Poughkeepsie is being demolished after it was deemed to be unsafe.
The home at 11 North Hamilton has four units inside. Several people live in the house and were evacuated as a precaution.
The demolition decision comes after the fire department got a call around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning for a potential partial collapse at the home.
The building department says they deemed the home unsafe.
