Thor is part canine superhero, part playful pup, and 100% ready to find his furever home.
Known by staff at SAVE: A Friend to Homeless Animals in Skillman as a “god of good walks and great big smiles,” Thor lives up to the nickname. He has mastered the art of tail wags, kisses and winning over humans with plenty of affection.
“This handsome boy enjoys playing with toys in the yard — but don’t be surprised if he trots right back over for a quick pet or a few kind words. Praise is his love language,” SAVE volunteers wrote in his biography.
An American bulldog and pit bull terrier mix, Thor weighs about 50 pounds. He is happy, social and loves going for walks.
“On leash, Thor truly shines: he walks confidently and calmly and is very good at checking in with his handler as if to say, ‘You still good? Just making sure.’ That adorable face gets even cuter when he does,” SAVE said.
Thor is great with children and other dogs, but would prefer a home without cats.
According to SAVE, he has been fully vaccinated, neutered and house-trained.
Anyone interested in adopting Thor is asked to fill out an application on the SAVE website www.savehomelessanimals.org.
