Police: Citgo gas station in Stratford robbed at gunpoint

Police say two people, wearing all black clothing and gloves, each armed with a gun ordered customers and employees to get on the floor.

A Citgo gas station in Stratford was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night, police say.

It happened just before 8:40 p.m. at 200 Barnum Ave.

Police say two people, wearing all black clothing and gloves, each armed with a gun ordered customers and employees to get on the floor.

They say a customer's wallet and cash from the register were taken. Police do not know the total amount of money that was stolen.

No one was injured.

Police say the suspects left in a dark-colored sedan or a small SUV.
