A mother and daughter were arrested Saturday for an attempted robbery at Macy’s in Manhasset.
Diane Butrico and Jaclyn Grillo, both of Queens, entered the Macy’s on Northern Boulevard, selected various items, and concealed them in a reusable bag, according to police.
Butrico, 60, and Grillo, 21, attempted to leave the store without paying when security workers stopped them.
Grillo threatened a security employee who confronted her and shoved him to the ground, injuring his arm, authorities said.
Grillo is charged with second-degree robbery and assault on a retail worker. Butrico is charged with fourth-degree criminal facilitation and petty larceny.
