1 dead, another injured in Co-op City crash
Investigators say a 55-year-old man driving a 2018 Mazda CX-5 was traveling northbound on Bartow Avenue when he lost control of his car.

A woman is dead after a driver crashed into a bus stop in Co-op on Tuesday.
It happened at the intersection of Bartow Avenue and Co-op City Boulevard just after 1:30 p.m.
Investigators say a 55-year-old man driving a 2018 Mazda CX-5 was traveling northbound on Bartow Avenue when he lost control of his car.
The man crashed into a nearby bus bench, where a 72-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were sitting.
The 72-year-old woman was declared dead at the scene. The 36-year-old man was taken to Jacobi Hospital and is expected to be OK.
The driver of the car was also taken to Jacobi Hospital in stable condition.
