A record-breaking number of runners ran in the 2026 Brooklyn half marathon Sunday morning.
More than 28,000 runners participated in the 13.1 mile race.
“I’m in pain, but it feels good to be done…it feels good I feel accomplished," said Raven, from Queens.
Friends and family were out in full force showing their support with cowbells, and signs, cheering the runners on as they went from Greenpoint, through Downtown Brooklyn and through Flatbush, before ending at Prospect Park.
“I wanted to do it for myself with no one telling me what to do," said Arden, a runner.
