A Mott Haven restaurant owner says the brother of a group of accused dine-and-dashers paid off the tab.
The group walked out of Talavera Cantina on Cinco de Mayo without paying for their drinks and food, according to Talavera Cantina owner Britney Cariño.
Cariño says she wanted to wait to call the police and instead chose to call out the accused dine-and-dashers online.
She says the group came in during the holiday rush, ordered tacos, guacamole, chips and four frozen margaritas and then slipped out the door with the check still sitting on the table.
Cariño says that the brother of one of the women stopped by to pay the $112 bill.
