Police identified a motorcyclist killed in a Williamsbridge hit-and-run incident and arrested the driver, who they say is responsible.

Ronald Vasquez-Herrera, 29, of Mount Hope, was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle along Boston Road near East 211th Street just before 9:15 p.m. on April 9 when he was struck by a Toyota Sienna, allegedly driven by Hubert Shantilou.

Citizen app footage from April 9 shows the 29-year-old's green bike lying in the street, surrounded by crime scene tape and debris.

EMS rushed Vasquez-Herrera to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he died.

Police say Shantilou, 69, drove away from the scene of the deadly crash. The Wakefield man was arrested on Friday, over two months later.

Shantilou is charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, driving without a license and making an improper left turn, according to the NYPD.
