Firefighters quickly contained a fire at a two-story private home in Upper Freehold Township on Monday evening, according to the Monmouth & Ocean Career Firefighters Association.
Members of the Upper Freehold Township and Millstone Township shops of IAFF Local 3874 responded to a reported structure fire at Box 8240 in Upper Freehold Township.
The association said first-arriving crews, including firefighters from Hope Fire Company Station 82-1 and mutual aid departments, were able to bring the fire under control quickly.
No injuries or information about the cause of the fire were released. Further details were not immediately available.
