A new Siena College poll shows Gov. Kathy Hochul expanding her lead over Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman in the race for governor.

Hochul now leads by 20 points, up from a 16-point advantage in April.

The poll shows voters largely sticking to party lines—about three-quarters of Democrats say they’ll support Hochul, while roughly the same share of Republicans back Blakeman.

Pollsters say Hochul holds a three-to-one lead in New York City and has widened her advantage in the downstate suburbs.

Upstate, however, the race is much tighter, with Hochul and Blakeman virtually tied.
