A seaplane crash-landed in the East River near Manhattan on Sunday, according to the FDNY.

Citizen footage shows the plane tilted on its side after a hard landing near the NY Skyport at East 23rd Street and the FDR Drive just after 12:01 p.m.

The plane remained upright in the water as marine units moved in and began towing it back to the dock, according to the FDNY.

FDNY says eight people were removed from the plane. There are no reported injuries at this time.

Operations remain ongoing as emergency crews continue working at the scene.
