A man was shot in the leg in Belmont on Sunday morning, according to NYPD.

Police say they responded to a 911 call at 9:16 a.m. for a person shot at 2458 Hoffman St.

The man was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The suspect ran off in an unknown direction.
