Video taken on Wednesday morning shows the sinkhole beginning to cave in on Rosedale Avenue, near the intersection of Watson Avenue.
The Department of Environmental Protection tells News 12 they have responded and confirmed that a contractor had already made a temporary fix.
News 12 was also told that the same contractor is scheduled to begin a full sewer project at that location next week.
