Man slashed in the face in East Tremont

Police are looking for a man they say stole food from a delivery man while armed with a firearm in University Heights.

The robbery happened just before 2 a.m. in front of 530 Exterior St. on Thursday.

Police say a 24-year-old man was making a food delivery when he was approached by man who displayed a firearm in his waist band.

The man then removed the food from the delivery driver.

Police sources say two pizza pies and wings were stolen.
