The smell of fresh seafood, live music and family fun will fill the streets of Oyster Bay this weekend as the annual Oyster Fest returns for its 43rd year. The two-day festival takes place Oct. 17 and 18, featuring local oysters, food vendors, carnival rides, craft vendors, and live entertainment along the waterfront at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park.
The event also raises money for local nonprofits and supports environmental efforts through the town's shell recycling program.
