Police say they want to speak with three people about an assault that happened at the Bay Plaza Shopping Center.
Officials released images of the people they want to question.
They say on Saturday, Oct. 6, four people were being escorted out of the shopping center by a 29-year-old female security guard when three of them started punching her in the face.
Police say they punched her numerous times before fleeing.
Emergency medical services took the guard to Jacobi Medical Center where she was treated at the hospital for a contusion and a fractured eye.
Another security guard told News 12 that because it's a big mall there are a lot of people and bases to cover but that they always remain professional and try to get home safe.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
