Four people were injured after a police car crashed into a Brooklyn laundromat during a car chase on Thursday.
Video taken just moments after the crash shows the side of the police car smashed into the business, while an officer lays on the ground.
The Department of Buildings and police are investigating the incident, which happened on the corner of Schenectady Avenue and Avenue J.
A witness tells News 12 the police car was driving up Schenectady Avenue, while the other vehicle was coming down Avenue J when they collided and forced the police car into the laundromat.
The impact of the crash smashed a folding table by the front door of the laundromat, which left shattered glass and dirt on the floor.
The four victims injured as a result of the crash were transported to the hospital. The owner of the laundromat was inside at the time of the incident but wasn’t harmed.
A worker tells News 12 that there were no customers in the building at the time of the incident.
