4 suspects on the run after violent cellphone robbery in Mott Haven 

According to police, one of the four people wanted took out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the back.

Police have released footage of people wanted in connection to a bold robbery that ended with a man stabbed multiple times in Mott Haven.

At this hour, News 12 has learned the victim was approached by four people before the violent attack on East 140th St.

The incident happened on Oct. 28 at 11:30 a.m. According to police, one of the four people wanted took out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the back. Then another person beat him with a chain and the other two punched and kicked him before running off with his phone.

Police say the 22-year-old victim is in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asking to call the Crime Stoppers hotline.
