The 42nd annual Three Kings Parade was held in Harlem Friday, presented by El Museo del Barrio.
Three Kings Day marks the epiphany when three wise men are said to have brought gifts to the baby Jesus.
Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. says the parade has grown in importance over the years.
“Let’s not forget – at the time baby Jesus didn't have a roof over [his] head,” said the borough president. “We have to protect our homeless. We have to protect those who are from foreign lands the way Joseph and Mary did."
