Preparations are underway for Macy’s Fourth of July fireworks show on Tuesday.
Many businesses are gearing up before the event begins at 8 p.m. on the East River.
Employees at Kent Ale House in Williamsburg say they have a full staff ready for the big day.
“Tomorrow we are going to get the manpower here and there will be a lot of takeaway drinks. It’ll be packed,” said bartender Alex Kelly.
Locals tell News 12 that they are looking forward to the event.
“I watch every year and it’s a great part of the American experience. It’s just awesome,” said resident Nathan Dobbie.
