Five people were hospitalized on Thanksgiving when a car crash sent one vehicle over the curb on Fordham Road, and it slammed into a pedestrian.
Witnesses said at least one of the cars was speeding and ran a red light.
A 13-year-old boy who was in a red SUV involved in the accident told News 12 his father, 64-year-old Dioghenes Liriano, was treated for chest pain from the impact.
Police said they did not expect any criminality.
The five injured people were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.
