The FDNY reported two dead in a massive Belmont building fire on Tuesday.
It happened at a five-story building located at 660 E 187 St. FDNY responded to reports of the fire around 1:30 p.m.
Officials say 13 people were injured, including five firefighters.
Over 270 firefighters rushed in to battle the blaze.
They say the fire spread across multiple floors.
Officials say the roof and stairs collapsed.
The American Red Cross set up Grace H. Dodge Career and Technical School as a place for people displaced to get help.
