Police say a 53-year-old man is facing charges after he attacked a subway conductor in the Bronx.
They say Theodore Wells was riding the D train at 205th Street Wednesday morning when he tried to trip the conductor.
Police say Wells jumped on top of the conductor, but that the conductor was saved by a rider who alerted a track worker nearby.
Wells faces second-degree assault charges.
