Hundreds of new school seats are slated to come to the Bronx this year as six new charter schools will be opening across the city.

One new high school and three new elementary schools are debuting in the borough that will add to the 94 already existing charter schools in the Bronx.

Administrators are hoping the additional school options will help students recover from the academic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
