The mother of a missing Brooklyn woman, along with others, held a fundraiser Thursday to help in the production of an app to find her daughter and others who have gone missing.
Rose Cobo has been working with several different organizations to create an app called ‘911missing.org’ to help others searching for their missing loved ones.
Cobo has relentlessly tried to find her daughter Chelsea since she went missing in May 2016.
"When a loved one goes missing, our lives are turned upside down and inside out,” she said. “And it debilitates a lot of us, but we have come together to find power in our pain, and to generate something different to cause the missing to be brought home faster, safer."
