A new restaurant is open in Morris Park with the goal of combining Caribbean flavors from different countries and contributing to the community.
Savitri McCrea and her sister Jennifer own Lotus Flame, where they incorporate Trinidadian, Jamaican and Guyanese flavors into their signature dishes.
And if you're thirsty, they've got you covered with the Lotus flaming bowl drink.
Lotus Flame aims to incorporate all of Caribbean culture, even sponsoring a cricket team in the neighborhood.
The restaurant is located on Morris Park Avenue.
