Activists handed flyers out at the Parkchester subway station Friday, encouraging residents to speak up about acts of discrimination.
The group says the initiative falls in between pride month and the Muslim holiday of Ramadan, which are both observed in June.
They say anyone who is the victim of or witnesses discrimination should report to the police and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.
The group says it chose Parkchester to hand out information due to its high diverse population.
