The Adams Street Brooklyn Public Library will close temporarily starting Wednesday and remain closed through Jan. 2, leaving some families disappointed but not without options.
On Tuesday, library visitors enjoyed story time one last time before the brief closure.
“For the story time, which we love very much. I’m kind of sad that they’re going to close for a little bit,” one parent said.
Librarygoers can still access services across the street at the Adams Street Library Annex, where they can pick up holds, return books, and borrow board games.
Other nearby options include the Brooklyn Heights branch and the Center for Brooklyn History, located about a mile away.
The Adams Street location is set to reopen on Jan. 2.
