An NYPD officer was arrested and is now facing several charges including assault, aggravated harassment and criminal mischief according to the NYPD.

Doxy Blackson, 44, is accused by his estranged wife of bending back her fingernail and threatening her with his gun.
Police say Blackson told her she needed to move out of their Brooklyn home and then threatened her.
Blackson joined the NYPD in 2003. He is currently awaiting arraignment in Brooklyn criminal court.
