Amazon Web Services, or AWS, supports major websites and apps like Netflix, Venmo, Snapchat and more.

Many AWS partners suffered outages overnight.

The website, DownDetector.com, tracks online outages. Their data shows thousands of consumers reporting issues.

Three hours after the outages began, AWS said they were starting to recover from the problem.

Suddenly, late Monday afternoon, a spike in outages occurred again.

While AWS said their web service is almost fully functional, it continues to respond to significant errors.
