A 3-year-old girl was struck by a car after police say she got out of her home and ran into oncoming traffic in Sunset Park.
The incident happened just after 12 a.m. in front of a home on 50th Street.
Police say that the child was struck by a 2018 Nissan Sentra, occupied by two adults and two children.
The child was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn and is in critical condition.
The car stayed at the scene.
