5h agoThe American Lung Association held its eighth annual Hudson Valley Lung Force Walk at Manhattanville College in Purchase.
Participants had the option to complete a 1-mile or 5-kilometer route around the campus.
The walk focuses on creating awareness for lung health in the community and getting it on people's radar so that lung cancer and disease can be treated and detected earlier.
There was also a fitness warm-up and an opportunity to complete a lung force action passport that encourages lung health education.
