Breathing New York City air could put your health at risk, according to a new report.
The American Lung Association released its annual "State of the Air" report, and the Bronx has the worst short-term pollution in the entire state. However, it had two fewer days of unhealthy air and came in as the most improved county in New York.
The Bronx is also one of nine counties in the state that received an "F" grade for ozone pollution.
When looking at the entire past year, Manhattan was given the worst air quality rating, and the city as a whole saw an increase in unhealthy smog days.
The organization says that most cities across the country had a worse air ranking than in previous reports.
