Anti-discrimination mural unveiled in Morrisania
An anti-harassment and discrimination mural in Morrisania is aimed at raising awareness that city agencies can help in the face of hate.
The city's Commission on Human Rights and the Department on Cultural Affairs are behind the project.
It’s placed prominently at the Bronx Defenders Headquarters - the non-profit that represents New Yorkers in various legal matters.
The Commission and Public Artists in Residence say they plan to create about 10 more works across the city by June.
