The event was held at the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House.
The company debuted a new iPad that will resemble its latest iPhones that lack the home button.
CEO Tim Cook also unveiled a new MacBook laptop with an improved screen.
There was tightened security leading up to the event, with street closures and extra police and K-9s stationed around the neighborhood.
Many visitors at the event said they were happy it was held in Brooklyn.
