Decades of Italian tradition returned to Arthur Avenue this weekend for the annual Ferragosto Festival.
At the heart of the festival, according to many visitors and organizers alike, is Italian cuisine.
Family owned businesses stepped out and offered some of Italy's finest foods, from baked goods to sausage and peppers and pizza.
Community organizers say the event continues to grow each year, with an average of 20,000 to 25,000 guests traveling from near and far.
