A recently opened bank is making a creative contribution to its new neighborhood and getting some help from artists.
An M&T Bank opened in May near the Fordham Road subway station. It teamed with an organization called the DreamYard Project to create a mural outside the bank depicting the borough's history.
On Tuesday, volunteers from M&T Bank and young artists picked up their brushes to complete and unveil the mural on the Grand Concourse.
The DreamYard Project works to give kids in the Bronx a creative outlet and develop an artistic voice.
