Authorities: 29-year-old man arrested in connection to Crown Heights Molotov cocktail attack on police

They say 29-year-old Timothy Amerman is facing charges for allegedly conspiring with Samantha Shader in the May 29 attack.

Authorities say a new arrest was made in connection to a Molotov cocktail attack on a police van in Crown Heights in May.
They say 29-year-old Timothy Amerman is facing charges for allegedly conspiring with Samantha Shader in the May 29 attack.
According to the criminal complaint, Amerman wrote a letter telling Shader about additional bottles to use in the attack as well as a protective mask she could wear. 
Shader allegedly threw the makeshift explosive into the car parked on Eastern Parkway during one of the protests.
Two other men from Brooklyn are also facing charges.
Amerman could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
