Police say the man was found dead on a bench Sunday morning inside Williamsbridge Oval field in the Bronx.
According to the NYPD, officers responded to the area at around 5:25 a.m. Sunday following a 911 call. Police discovered a 66-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with multiple puncture wounds to the body while on a park bench.
The man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests at this time.
